I wished upon a star last night
Disney, I really hope you're right
My hearts full of love, desire, and longing
Is that enough? or is Fate back there laughing, yawning
Tell me what happens after the shoe fits
The tale ends there and it dosn't make sense
If the place where the story ends should be the beginning
How can love last
It's a false start
It's the ending
One girl had thorns
One had a bad apple
An evil step mother broke one
Another was trapped in a tall tower
We all have our obstacles
I've got, like, nine
But if love conqures all
Will this wish really be mine?
Little girls believe in stories
I choose to see facts
These obstacles are real
and they sure do stack
So I'll glance up once again to the star
I want to believe, I do
You tell me love and wishes mix
to make beautiful endings come true
It seemed so simple years ago
But now I find that hard to digest
Yet, logic says dreams are ment for sleeping
So, maybe I simply just need some rest.
